Riodine Antiseptic Ointment 25g

Treatment of infected wounds and minor skin infections (boils, infected nails, chickenpox sores, tinea and other fungal and bacterial infections).

Instructions:

Apply using cotton bud or swab as required. Sufficient solution should be applied to maintain microbicidal activity in the presence of blood, pus, serum or mucosal secretions. Treated areas may be bandaged. Colour outlines the treated area and activity so as the colour fades solution should be re-applied. Minor Burns: Apply liberally to reddened and unbroken skin. Do not use on extensive burn areas. Blisters: Apply solution liberally to broken and unbroken blisters. Impetigo: Apply undiluted to the affected area twice daily. Chicken Pox Sores: Apply undiluted to the affected area twice daily until the infection clears to minimise secondary infection and scarring.

Ingredients:

Povidine-Iodine 10% w/v equivilant to 1% w/v available Iodine.
